Gratitude is a powerful remedy to tension induced pain

Gratitude is a powerful remedy to tension induced pain!
One of the basic principles in healing from tension induced pain is recognizing that your pain is your Signal to become aware of how you are being and then to investigate how you are being instead of thinking--what is wrong with me now and who is going to fix this pain. This is "think psychologically" vs injury think.

a key component of this certain way of thinking is to be sincerely grateful for this signal. the key is "sincere". saying to your self, "thank you for reminding me to be present/aware" with true gratefulness is a powerful communication to the pain disorder that you truly do accept that this is a mental/emotional pain disorder and the cause is Your repressed emotional energy and not a muscle imbalance or disc problem or nerve damage or over-training injury.

the number of inquiries I get about this is crazy. "do i really have to be grateful for the pain"...my response is always the same...if you accept the real cause of this disorder and if you accept that someone or thing "out there" is not going to fix you...then the absolute best way to communicate this to your self and this pain strategy is to be truly grateful....i am saying this... vs just mouthing the words to your self with no integrity because you read in a book that is what you are suppose to do. this mouthing/repeating of words will get you nothing.

this is a huge deal, not a little one. be grateful because you understand the workings of this disorder....then the inner working of this disorder will begin to guide you away from the pain and into a deeper meaning.

Bless your difficulties and ask to see their hidden guidance. Caroline Myss
