Notice where your energy is when you are waiting...

In this disorder, waiting communicates non-acceptance, which, understand automatically "feeds" the pain disorder. why? - the very fact you are waiting is telling this disorder you believe somehow this will eventually go away without you changing.

Waiting is also a form of repression. It usually has a companion like depression, which seems to go back into the past with regrets, resentment, and anger.

Or it's companion might be "searching" which is usually in the future in worry or "savior day-dreaming" which is idle foolishness that you again you are wishing for the end of pain while not commiting any change to your self.

In either case a person in this mode is denying, resisting, or avoiding what is present right now.

Check to see if you are in a waiting mode and what kind. And then make a choice to get out of there.
